4 Reasons Why You Need A Magician For Your Corporate Event

Newman Mentalism shares his top 4 reasons why you need a corporate magician for your next event

It can seem like entertainment options for your event are endless.

And there are lots of options out there: bands, DJ’s jugglers, comedians and more.

And, while I acknowledge I may be a little biased, I can confidently say that when it comes to entertaining your guests at your next corporate event, gala, fundraiser, or whatever else you may be planning, there’s one option that blows the rest out of the water: A magician.

Who WOULDN'T want to have this much fun at their event?!

Why? Well, I'm spilling the beans on four reasons why you should consider hiring a magician or mentalist for your next corporate shindig!

1. Magic Makes Your Event a Showstopper

I get it. You want to make a big impact at your next event. You want to knock the socks off your guests and have them talking about it for days.

Unlike a lot of other options, a magic show has built in spectacle. Even a single, well-executed magic trick can drop jaws, and your guests get to experience it first-hand. It's like a magical vortex that draws in all the attention!

2. Magic Is The Ultimate Ice Breaker

Let's be honest. Corporate events can sometimes feel a little…stuffy. People don’t always know each other, or they might be shy in large groups, or, in some cases, they just simply would rather be somewhere else. But with magic, you can kiss formalities, shyness, and apathy goodbye. What better way to get people to connect with each other than them sharing the experience of seeing impossible magic right in front of their noses?

Magic has the unique ability to break down barriers and bring people together, making it the perfect entertainment choice for all kinds of events, team building and even networking functions. Seeing a magician do their thing is a natural opportunity to strike up a conversation and build relationships, even long after the magician has left the building.

3. A Magician Is The Life of the Party

If there's one thing that magic does well, it's injecting a sense of interactive fun and excitement into any event. Magic is a sure-fire way to get your guests giggling with delight, gasping in amazement, and feeling thoroughly entertained. And the best part? That energy that builds from experiencing the impossible stays with them long after the event is over.

4. Magic Provides An Incredibly Unique Experience

The vast majority of people have never seen a live magic show. Magic is a novel experience in every sense of the word, and it’s a great way to make your corporate event, holiday party, etc. not only memorable, but incredibly unique.

A lot of other kinds of entertainment (especially in a corporate or company setting) can all kind of be…well, the same. Bands play the same songs. DJ’s use the same tracks. Comedians all kind of just blend together. But, magic offers something truly unique; it’s always different, always exciting, and most of all, always memorable. Your guests will be talking about the magic they witnessed for days, weeks, or even months after the event.

(Case in point; it’s not uncommon that I’ll do a show and someone will pull out my business card or a memento for a trick I did for them years ago out of their wallet and tell me about how I blew their mind the last time we met.)

And let’s be real; what better impact could you want when hosting a corporate event? Or a Holiday Party? Or a Fundraiser? You want that experience to be as memorable as possible.

The Bottom Line

If you’re looking for a way to drop some jaws at your next corporate retreat, holiday party, fundraising gala, or whatever else your planning, you can see why a magic show is the perfect choice for entertainment. It captivates the crowd, brings people together, injects fun and excitement into any event, serves as the ultimate icebreaker, and provides a truly unique experience.
